If you're a student, you can sign up for IEEE international membership at ieee.org at a discounted rate. This will grant you access to IEEE spectrum, research papers and IEEE meetings in your local area!
Students who register their membership at IEEE international can contact any student officer to gain 24/7 door access to our lounge. Our lounge provides many amenities such as -
- A kitchenette with a microwave, fridge and freezer.
- Books commonly used in ECE courses.
- A computer lab with windows and ubuntu, and all softwares ECE students frequently use.
- A community study space, with a TV screen for public use.
Student members, upon attending any two student branch meetings in a semester, also gain voting privileges and are eligible to run for officer positions themselves. You may of course opt to just attend our meetings or use our facility without registering during office hours.
