Hello! I'm currently a junior majoring in Electrical Engineering with a potential minor in Computer Science. My current, most important goal is to find that one sub-field within EE that I am truly passionate about and would make a successful career out of. Outside of the "dreaded" EE classes, I like to stargaze, watch some nice movies (genres in science, mystery, thriller, action), work out, and just read up on some astronomy news. I'm also trying to improve my cooking skills, whenever I have time, by discovering new recipes and giving my best shot at replicating them.
I have been with IEEE for about a year. I started off by attending the social events primarily for the free food, to be completely honest, as well as the career related events such as resume reviews. I later stuck around and got involved with the board because of the friendly people I met who I could talk to about academic and non-academic things. As the now president, I vision IEEE to be an organization where people from various backgrounds can get together to socialize and network as well as share fascination in the "magic" of Electrical & Computer Engineering - even in all of STEM.
