Hi, I'm Vaibhav. I've been involved with IEEE since September of 2021. I started out by going to an event for free Canes, and ended up meeting some amazing people and sticking around. I'm so glad that I did because joining IEEE has been a great decision for me and many others here at the U.
I'm a Junior in Computer Engineering, and so many of my interests naturally have to do with things in that field. I'm very interested in writing software that gets computers to make life easier. If I catch myself complaining about something, or running into the same problem over and over, I try and see if I can solve that with a computer. That has been a lot of fun, and has driven me to further grow as an engineer too.
Outside of that, I love biking and ping pong. Biking in Minneapolis is a lot of fun and gives you so many opportunities to explore where we live, and really find those hidden gems everywhere. And I like ping pong because I'm good at it, and is a fun activity to play with others. One of my main goals is to continue to get better at developing devices to simplify life. Its the main reason I decided I wanted to study Computer Engineering, and I'm glad so many others choose to do the same!
